BROOKE - AMELIA LEWINGTON
I was born in the UK and moved to New Zealand at the age of eight, growing up in a small town called Greytown in the Wairarapa. My passion for physiotherapy began early, inspired by my own experiences attending physiotherapy sessions for various sports injuries throughout my youth. Those visits not only helped me recover but also showed me the incredible impact physiotherapists have on people’s lives.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Te Pūkenga. During my studies, I was fortunate to gain practical experience working alongside the Ohaupo A’s as a sports medic, along with other sporting medic opportunities, which deepened my understanding of sports-related injuries and rehabilitation.
After graduation, I worked as a rotational physiotherapist in Australia, where I was able to broaden my skills across a range of clinical settings. After returning to New Zealand, I spent some time working in a hospital setting before making the move into private practice. I’m grateful to have secured a role at Vigour, where I’m passionate about helping clients restore movement, enhance their quality of life, and reach their individual goals.
Outside of work, I enjoy the gym, exploring hiking trails, relaxing at the beach, and going for long walks and runs. Growing up, I was always first to put my hand up for new sports and challenges, a habit that has shaped my lifelong passion for staying active and supporting overall wellbeing. PRICING & TREATMENT TIMES
Your First Appointment: Comprehensive Care in 40 Minutes
Your first appointment will be 30 - 40mins. This will allow the therapist to be able to form a good diagnosis of your condition and provide some treatment. We will also provide some self-management advice for you to follow at home.
Follow Up visits will vary between 20 and 40mins dependent on the complexity of your condition.
